Application Procedures:

TEACHERS

Resumes may be submitted anytime during the year.

Please include in your covering letter:

  • Your area(s) of teaching interest
  • When you are available to begin employment

Along with your resume, include a copy of the following:

  • Teacher application download
  • Complete up-to-date postsecondary transcripts
  • Autobiographical statement

Education Assistants


Miyo Wahkhohtowin Education Authority is seeking Substitute Education Assistants for Ermineskin Elementary School and Ermineskin Jr. Sr. High School for the 2010-2011 school year.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Educational Assistant (EA) is hired to meet the needs of specific students and/or program needs within the school. The role of the EA can can include

  • Working one; one with a student or
  • Working with a group of students or
  • Supporting a teacher in a particular program

The EA works alongside and under the direction and guidance of teacher, providing supportive and complementary services.

 Education & Qualifications
We are looking for applicants who:

  • Have a High School Diploma
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have excellent organizational skills
  • Working with children and/or children with special needs is an asset
  • Able to speak Cree is an asset
